Jallu Law Review (JALLREV) is an open-access law journal employing a double-blind peer-review process. It was established to provide an academic platform for the publication of high-quality legal research in Indonesia, aiming to address the need for scholarly literature that critically examines national law and its connection to regional and global legal developments. Recognizing the dynamic legal challenges faced by Indonesia as part of the Global South, JALLREV is committed to advancing legal scholarship through discussions on legal reform, institutional development, and contemporary social issues. The journal particularly encourages research that places the Indonesian legal system in dialogue with regional and international perspectives. The scope of JALLREV covers, but is not limited to, areas of criminal and civil law, constitutional and administrative law, economic and business law, environmental and technology law, as well as human rights. The journal also welcomes interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approaches that enrich legal studies and strengthen the role of law in addressing societal challenges. By providing a forum for academic dialogue, JALLREV seeks to foster the exchange of ideas among scholars, practitioners, and policymakers—both in Indonesia and across the broader Global South.
