Plagiarism Policy

Jallu Law Review (JALLREV) strictly prohibits all forms of plagiarism and self-plagiarism. Authors must ensure that the submitted manuscript is entirely original and has not been previously published or submitted elsewhere. Any use of another author’s words, data, or ideas must be properly cited and acknowledged.

All manuscripts are checked using Turnitin plagiarism detection software before further processing. The maximum acceptable similarity index is 30%. If the similarity exceeds this threshold, the manuscript will be returned to the author for revision and resubmission.

Manuscripts found to contain severe plagiarism will be automatically rejected, and the author may be subject to administrative sanctions by the editorial board.

Levels of Plagiarism:

  1. Minor Plagiarism: Use of one or two sentences from another work without proper citation.
Penalty: Authors are asked to revise the manuscript and provide proper citations.

  2. Moderate Plagiarism: Use of a significant portion of text, data, or paragraph from another work without adequate acknowledgment.
Penalty: Manuscript is returned for major revision or rejected.

  3. Severe Plagiarism: Reproduction of substantial portions of another work, including original ideas, results, or methods, without permission or attribution.
Penalty: Manuscript is immediately rejected and the author may be prohibited from future submission to JALLREV.

The Editorial Team reserves the right to assess each plagiarism case individually and take appropriate action based on the level of violation.
