Plagiarism Policy and Similarity Check
As part of Jallu Law Review’s commitment to academic integrity and publication ethics, every manuscript submitted by authors is subject to an originality assessment using plagiarism detection and similarity checking tools, such as Turnitin or other recognized software. This procedure is conducted to ensure that all published manuscripts are free from plagiarism and comply with the ethical standards of scholarly writing.
Jallu Law Review stipulates that the acceptable similarity index for submitted manuscripts is a maximum of 30%, excluding the bibliography section, which is not counted in the percentage. Additionally, similarity originating from a single source must not exceed 5% to prevent substantial duplication from one particular reference. Manuscripts found to contain plagiarism, mosaic plagiarism, inadequate paraphrasing, or excessive self-plagiarism will be deemed non-compliant and automatically rejected at the pre-review stage without further processing.
